For those of you that Can't Get Enough classic rock, this 1974 release should be added to
your collection. Often overlooked as it weighs in at a scant 35 minutes or so, this
initial release on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song label is chocked full of classic tracks. The
opener 'Can't Get Enough' is an FM staple, but is actually probably one of the weaker
tracks on the album. 'Rock Steady' is a solid rocker. 'Ready for Love' is a great tune
resurrected from an earlier Mott the Hoople incarnation, and 'Don't Let Me Down' shows
Paul Rodger's balladier style which he would later perfect on 'Shooting Star'... The title
track 'Bad Company', foreshadows and is cooler than anything BonJovi could ever do
for the Young Guns soundtrack, and the closing 'Way I Choose', 'Movin' On',
and 'Seagull' are all solid vocal tracks. Not a heavy metal record by any means, but a
heavy rock album that is often overlooked.
