THERE GOES RHYMIN' SIMON

This was Paul Simon's second solo album and is a masterpiece. By far his best solo effort. Every song on this album is a strong one. It opens with the colorful upbeat tune "Kodachrome", a song about every picture telling a story. Other great songs include "Take Me to the Mardi Gras" which is so very sweet, "Loves Me Like a Rock', even more sweeter (how can a song about motherly love me any other way?). The Dixie Hummingbirds sing a nice backup on this one. "St. Judy's Comet" was written for Paul's son and is a great song to sing your kids to sleep to. "One Man's Ceiling Is Another Man's Floor" is another song I like a lot.
Simon showed he didn't need Garfunkel any longer with this album. I highly recommend this one!
