No, it's still not quite true. You DID, upon re-reading, carefully write "between LIT and B&B," implying that LIB wasn't to be included. But you did NOT specify just studio albums. Your exact wording was:
"This is true of every album released between LET IT BLEED and BLACK AND BLUE." But "Ya Ya's" was eventually certified platinum. The reason is probably because it looked to the general public like a greatest hits album, similar to Hot Rocks.
But the real question--since you run a CD store--is if ABKCO applied for Ya Ya's to get
certification status, and for Aftermath and Let It Bleed, why not for the others? What
explains this mystery?
