I just watched 3 episodes of VH1's The List. What a pile of dung that show is. It's too bad because the premise for the show is good. They just do a gawdawful job of executing the gameplan. I mean, who are half these people that they get on the panel? I saw one that Little Richard was on, but mostly it's just a bunch of non musical celebs. However the show does pose some interesting questions. Since there's not much activity on the Stones front, and I'm all out of trivia questions, I thought I'd pose some of the List's questions and see what real Rock n Roll fans think. Biggest male ROCK star.
1. Mick Jagger-If you look up the definition of rock star in Webster's it says "Mick Jagger". Everything about Mick screams "Hey now, I'm a fucking STAR!"
2. Elvis Presley-How can you argue with the King
3. David Bowie-Dave was a rock star before anyone even heard of him. His longevity, ability to adapt to the ch-ch-changes in the rock world, and influence on other acts make him what he is...a big ol' rock star.
