I have never seen Mick play better. The closest I can remember was when he played at
Slims (San Fran) in the Carla Olsen band about nine years ago. I have seen him play
numerous times since - he really played well on Friday. He has a good band and they set
him up well. I couldn't help but think that his tour will get better and better, as the
songs take shape. I hope to see him aging in a few months. I was really happy to see Mick
playing that well. He looks good and sounds great.
