Or in the 70s, or in the 80s, either. I never even notice a problem till a few years
ago when I came on-line for the first time at the old Stonesworld board. There I found
Maxlugar, Josh showed up a little later and one or two others there that were not Beatle
fans. From what I can tell there are about six or seven people here who do not like the
Beatles and at least two of them keep posting things like "the Beatles suck" and
makes it appear that Stones fans do not dig the Beatles. But its not really true. Most
Stones fans are still Beatles fans even today. Yes there are a few who aren't and almost
all of them are under forty. So they were not around when the Beatles broke down the door
and made it possiable for bands like the Stones to become successful. If you were around
in the sixties or understood what happened back then and are a Stones fan, then you are
also a fan of the Beatles.
As far as the Beatkes and the Stones go, they have always been good friends. It was the
Beatles who first helped the Stones and they have been friends ever since.
