Interesting idea.

I think your setlist is way off though. Just look at the 67 setlist and the 69 setlist and go from there, many songs from the 2 new albums would have been heavy in the rotation.

a standard 1967 setlist

The Last Time
Paint It Black
19th Nervous Breakdown
Lady Jane
Get Off Of My Cloud-Yesterday's Papers-Get Off Of My Cloud
Ruby Tuesday
Let's Spend The Night Together
Goin' Home-Satisfaction

a standard 1969 setlist

Jumping Jack Flash
Carol
Gimme Shelter (rare)
Sympathy for the Devil
Satisfaction
Stray Cat Blues
Prodigal Son
You Gotta Move
Love in Vain
I'm Free
Under My Thumb
Midnight Rambler
Live With Me
Little Queenie
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (rare)
Honkey Tonk Women
Street Fighting Man

Had they toured in 68, I think the length of the show would have been about like 69. I envision a setlist like this.

Jumping Jack Flash
Street Fighting Man
Mercy Mercy
Stray Cat Blues
Prodigal Son
2000 Man
Yesterday's Papers
I'm Free
Under My Thumb
She's a Rainbow
Paint It Black
No Expectations
Parachute Woman
Ruby Tuesday
Satisfaction
Sympathy For The Devil

I think its unrealistic back in 68 for them to start digging out songs like I am Waiting, Connection, and Child of the Moon. Some of the songs you list have never been played live yet, why would they be broken out for a tour in support of Beggars. The Satanic Majesties songs would barely see the light of day. Most of them are just a bunch of effects anyway. Besides, at that point the band had completely moved on. The difference between Beggars and Satanic Majesties is night and day. They abandoned that sound in favor of a blues sound. Playing it live wouldn't have worked well. I know mine isn't exact either but I don't see any chance of an extended acoustic set (they never did more than 2 songs acoustically - except special shows).

Great idea though. Although I can't see how you hate the Ya Ya's version of Stray Cat Blues, it completely Rocks. So much more than the released cut of the song. The unreleased studio cut with the Mick yells at the end is much better.
