Hello Robert!
Nice list you have compiled. I have graded your exam below and you have passed Keith Richards Acoustic Guitars 101A!
: Harmony 12-String (1963-1965)
This would be model H-1270
: Blonde Gibson Hummingbird (1965-present)(has several models in this color)
I'll give you half credit on this one. It's NOT a Hummingbird but the very similar Gibson DOVE.
: Sunburst or Red Gibson Hummingbird (1965-present)(probably owns several models in
this color also)
: Brown Hummingbird Gibson (1968-1970)(Both Brian and Mick Jagger shared playing this
guitar. Richards uses it on No Expectations during Rock and Roll Circus and Jones uses it
in the film One Plus One aka Sympathy For The Devil)
The color would be "Cherry Sunburst". It's the only (stock) color this comes in which leads me to the brown one you have listed. I remember the guitar you are refering to but I don't have a picture or video in front of me. It may have been custom painted? I would have to get back to you on that one.
: Blonde Guild Acoustic (1969-1970)
: Red or Sunburst Epiphone Hummingbird Acoustic(1969-1970) (Pics taken before 69 tour show
Keith Mick J and Mick T playing it. Also during the photo sessions a nude woman is there)
: Ovation (1994) Used on the Worst in Miami. He may have used them on other occasions I
don't know about.
: Blonde Martin Acoustics (1977-present)He has a large variety with some that are capoed.
This is just for starters and not complete. These are the obvious ones: Martin D-18,
D-28, D-45 and the new $19,000 Steven Still's signiture model. (Not really, that's a joke.
For $19,000, CSN&Y fucking better deliver it in person)
: Blonde Martin 12 string acoustic (1969-1972)
: Ted Newman Jones custom acoustics (1977-1980)
With acoustic guitars, what you have refered to as "Blonde" would actually be refered to as "Natural" finish. ( Even though on an Electric it would be refered to as "Blonde" OR "Natural") "Blonde" is usually an "electric" reference.
I can add one more. On the cover of the Bootleg, "No Expectations" Keith is sitting on a coffee table with Mick and he's playing a National Resonator Guitar, Style "O" (the letter after N) I was listening to this to answer Gram's JJF question.
I gotta bail now.
Later, JIMMY
P.S. I saw your website.
