: I'd say Monkey Man's break is the Stones' most sublime instrumental break. Nineteenth Nervous Breakdown's break (pun intended) may not be as accomplished, but it sure does cook. All Down the Line's cauterizing slide solo and the conclusion of Sway are way up there too.
During the '81 and '82 tour, Just My Imagination had a jam
that is quite simply organsmic. My living room looks
like that tent they used for the It's Only Rock and Roll promo after hearing that one.
