In 1978 Little Queenie was, well, punkishqueenish&Rather, well, Little. She was hanging with some older lads with green hair,various and sundry body piercings, black teeth and blonde guitars, doing bongs and singing a bit.
Somebody said the new Stones record was out that day.
A couple blokes and the lil queen went wandering down to the nearest record shop, on foot; midafternoon and rather bleary, you know.
Get to the counter, get some new copies, went back to the crib where we were jamming and put one on.
