the stones played to sellout to 60,000 people at tangerine bowl in orlando. I remember outlaw motorcylce bikers circling the stadium as we waited outside the night before as festival seating was the way back then. I was 18 and a little green, but I remember a Indian guy in line in front of me who actually was shooting up, and later in the night he overdosed and was rushed out by ambulance.

I was 16 or 17 and still in high school when I saw them at the gig RIGHT BEFORE THE ORLANDO show in San Francisco! (the Sunday Show) My group too waited the night before in line with some of the S.F./Oakland/San Jose chapter of the angels making their presence VERY WELL KNOWN! Some of you may remember A LITTLE MOVIE THEY DID WITH THE STONES and (back in 1981) still had some "business" to attend to! (Sonny B. was still VERY HEAVY especially in Northern Calif.) Like I said I am only 16 or 17, 100 miles from Sacramento and had to go to school the next day. (that was the deal Mom and I made)
Now Here's the really weird part: I TOO SAW AN EAST INDIAN/HINDU GUY SHOOTING UP AND DOING LINES IN FRONT OF ME!!!!! We were in line by 2 or 3am and too excited to sleep etc. so we did our homework! Anyway I notice this East Indian guy and this Hick/Rube kinda small town dude passing this Hype Needle to the East Indian Guy who the starts shooting up. I nudge my friend and say, "check it out". My friend (very clueless to the drug world) say's to me, "maybe he's a diabetic." About 5 minutes later they pull out a vile and use a pocket knife to do a spoonful of coke each! Then they just start doing lines on the back of some object. I turn to my friend and say, "diabetic huh?" ABOUT 2 OR 3 HOURS LATER, the guy from "the stick's" starts screaming in a panic, "THAT HINDU GUY STOLE MY COKE!!!" over and over. For about the next 3 or 4 months it became one of many of my "catch phrase's" ! Example: Hey Jimmy are we going to Jon's house tonight? Answer: I don't know. that hindu guy stole my coke. (it got old) and I have not thought about this in 10 years easy!. I would not be a bit surprised if your guy is the same dude as my guy! You know the one Josh? THAT HINDU GUY STOLE MY COKE! After San Francisco they played Orlando so you never know. TOO FUCKING WEIRD?! Later, Jimmy
