Hello Everyone!
Last week we were all talking about our 1981 Still Life Tour memories and BESIDES "That Hindu guy stole my coke" I just remembered something else:
While we were waiting in line at 3:00 a.m. (For you youngsters out there this was back in the day seats were rarely reserved. It was something called "General Seating" get a spot and hang on to it.) Anyway while in line at 3:00 a.m. besides making everyone sit down in line to prevent line jumping they also passed out to us these Rolling Stones Comic Books that were printed on newsprint and were black and white. I still have mine in my "vault" If I remember it was similar to those government "woodsy the owl" or "McGruff the crime dog" comics they pass out in grade schools to entertain with a message etc. I remember the Stones comic had a character as your host/guide as to what was "cool" to do and "not cool" to do at the stones gig you were about to attend. It was maybe 15 pages? Was San Francisco the only city on the tour to receive this comic book? I would think surely there had to be other cities? Any comments? Later, Jimmy.
