To say the least, Start Me Up proved punk never happend ie clash and other bull shit no hit wonders.

That may be the "wants" of the youth but you and I know about the "air" and the feeling. Besides what is "popular"? For me its whats popular for me, not the media, polls, trends or some kind of fashion :) The Stones have given me a feeling that no fucking clueless teen will ever know of but soon will want to listen to eventually, like Anybody Seen My Baby, at 1st I said o no, but now, that song flows like the finest red wine. I love that song, well writen and the instruments are beautiful.
Right now, the stones are walking a fine line between selling out and kicking ass again. Lets hope they don't sell out and listen to you
They are, they must forget about awards from overpaid consultants for the grammies. I still they must be locked in a basement for a few months and come out with an album.
