: : : Thanks for the great story. Keith is quite a guy, and that's why I love him.
:
: : Who are you, do you love him as a fan or are you
: : his lady
: Hello Ric, I have loved Keith Richards as a fan and fellow human being since I was thirteen years old. I love him because 1) his music has brought happiness to my life, and pulled me through some rough times 2) He is no saint, and he doesn't care if anyone likes it or not. Keith is Keith, and will be who he is. He's 'true', I can't put it into words any better than that 3) Not many people of his wealth, celebrity, and station in life would go to the trouble to show his appreciation to his fans like he did for your son. And has done for many, many people. That means a helluva lot in this world. I have never met him, the closest I came was at the NS show in Denver in February, when I had a limited access backstage pass and saw him from about ten feet away. If I ever did meet him, all I would want to do is say "Thank You". In my heart, I will always be his 'lady'.
: Keith is married to Patti Hansen, a former model, and they have two daughters. She is a beautiful woman, and apparently they are very happy together. I don't think I would be up to the daily care and feeding of Keith! LOL.
Lady Bear, Thanks for writing back. Very well said. Everything you said is so true. Keith is a
very caring person. My son does realize how special that was. I am sure Keith was surprised to
see such a young fan up front. It seemed to
energize Keith even more. We will forever be grateful for his kindness. Keith is the "Rolling
Stones".
