The story was put around by the police who raided Keith's house as a plot to blacken the Stones (and Marianne's) reputation by suggesting that there was some kind of sexual depravity taking place....I guess they thought that as the case for the drug bust was so weak that such an outrageous tale could help their case and/or turn the public against the people involved..of course,it had the opposite effect
I dont think the press actually stated that it took place (you wouldnt read a story that explicit in the press back then..even in the british press) - it was generally just a bit of unfounded gossip
as for why its a Mars Bar - well,dont knock it till youve tried it.. I dont think Oh Henrys are available in england anyway..a Mars is one of the most common candy bars in england,so it made for a better and more believable story I guess..!!
