I think Love In Vain is a very underated song. You

are so right about Keith and Mick T. "laying it

on". The guitar playing on the 69 and 72 tours was

simply oustanding. It will never be duplicated because of no Mick T. I listened to Live With Me on NS and then on Ya-Ya's. No comparison whatsoever in my opinion. The driving rhythm and masterful leads by both players are unmatched.
I know the guitar playing of Keith was debated
a few weeks ago, but it not Keith at all. Ronnie
is the weak link. I know he will be a stone for
life so I'm not going to even go there.
I am probably somewhat biased maybe but and grew
up on Ya-Ya's, 72 tour, ect.. Another song on
Ya-Ya's that gets me going is Stray Cat Blues.
I remember going to college and meeting this
great guitar player. He had hair halfway down his
back, his guitar case in one hand, his notebook
and a well worn copy of Ya-Ya's in his other hand. To me, that says it all.......SC.

PS. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Stones
as much as ever.....just a little different band
now, thats all.
