On the site's song lyrics page, lyrics are usually publish as they were copyrighted, not necessarily the way Mick Jagger sings them. Also note that the personnel listed for each song comes from studio session logs (90% of them, anyway). These logs are not always correct, especially on bootleg songs, where chances are they are missing personnel. Also, although permission was granted by both ABKCO and Rolling Stones Records to publish the lyrics, on a few of the cover songs listed, I was unable to find the current copyright holder. However, under the Copyright Act of 1976, under "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107", allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by this copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational, or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.
