REVIEW Not a great album, but not a bad one either. Even all around with the tune "Undercover Of The Night" being the best of the bunch, plus the song's video turned out to be their best all time video, too! Keith Richards' "Wanna Hold You" is a real nice feel good song, sounds a little Beatleish, which is fine with me! The lyrics of every song found on this album are pure Jagger/Richards without a doubt, except maybe one - "Too Much Blood". This song, about a true story, has to be one of their strangest written numbers. Hell, I would expect something like this from Alice Cooper, not Mick Jagger, but yet he and the band still pulls it off. There are a couple of sub-par songs on here, but this was an average album for its time period, which for rock music, was not a good time period at all, oh well. - Keno, 1998 2018 updated review is here. *Old Ratings vs. New Ratings The oldest ratings that you see here are from back in 1998 when I first rated the album for this site. Since time does change one's point of view, I decided to listen to and rate the album again, doing so in late 2005. In December, 2018, 20 years after the first ratings were made, I rated all of the songs for a third time.
